Chumduri had the privilege of delivering an invited talk on 7th November at the Early Cancer Institute, Cambridge University, UK, as part of 2024 - the Cambridge Symposium on Oesophageal Cancer.

Chumduri discussed gastroesophageal development and the mechanisms driving early cancer events at these vulnerable hotspots. I also discussed how stem cell-derived organoids and omics technologies are transforming our ability to model these early cancer events, bridging the gap between fundamental research and clinical applications.

Another highlight of the event was a guided tour of the historic Wren Library at Trinity College, adding a touch of timeless inspiration to a day filled with cutting-edge science.

A heartfelt thanks to Prof. Rebecca Fitzgerald, Mr. J. Robert O’Neill, Dr. Massimiliano di Pietro, and Dr. Christopher Jones for organizing such a stimulating symposium and providing a platform to connect with global experts advancing innovation in this important field 🙌 .
