Connecting Discovery and Translation at the 3rd Annual Meeting of the Translational Cancer Network
It was a pleasure to contribute to this inspiring forum uniting biomedical, clinical, and translational researchers committed to advancing cancer and infection research through collaboration.
I presented my invited talk,“From Microbes to Mutations — Organoids as a Translational Bridge in Infection and Cancer Research,” highlighting how infections and dietary stressors reshape tissue ecosystems, driving antimicrobial defense mechanisms, mutational processes, and disease evolution.
Proud of our lab members Dr. Pon Ganish Prakash and Dr. Naveen Kumar, who were both selected for flash talks and poster presentations.
· Pon presented “Organoid single-cell atlas reveals epithelial immune heterogeneity and early-warning responses to oncogenic infections.”
· Naveen presented “Next-Generation Organoid Systems for Infection, Cancer, and Precision Medicine.”
Grateful for the opportunity to exchange ideas, learn from inspiring colleagues, and strengthen networks that drive translational cancer research forward.
